Does the whole building need to participate?
Not necessarily — but the more tenants that participate, the lower the monthly rate for everyone. That’s why we offer scalable pricing based on the number of subscribers in your building.
What kind of speeds are available?
BuildingLink offers symmetrical speeds, meaning upload and download rates are equal — perfect for cloud software, VoIP, video calls, and backups. Specific speed tiers depend on the building’s infrastructure and tenant needs.
Do I still get a static IP address?
Yes. Every BuildingLink connection includes a dedicated static IP block, making it ideal for VPNs, remote access, hosted servers, and VoIP systems.
Is the network shared with other tenants?
No. Each subscriber is provisioned on a private VLAN, ensuring traffic is isolated and secure — just like having your own dedicated line.
How long does it take to get installed?
If the building is already equipped with Fidalia infrastructure, activation can happen within a few business days. If we’re bringing service into the building for the first time, we’ll coordinate with you and other tenants to complete a fast, low-impact install.
What happens if not enough tenants sign up?
We’ll keep you informed. If we receive sufficient interest, we’ll proceed with installation. If not, we’ll work with your building’s management and continue to gather interest until a viable deployment is possible.
